And our Supreme Values Award Winner for 2024 is…

Throughout the course of the year, our team have been nominating colleagues who bring our values to life. Sometimes awards programmes like this don’t quite land in the workplace; staff aren’t engaged with organisational values, the systems and processes aren’t easy enough for colleagues to nominate, or the organisational culture isn’t there yet. This was definitely NOT the case at Ormiston Hospital & Healthcare this year!

Over 195 nominations were made throughout the year, with 79 colleagues being nominated (to give you some context, that’s almost half of our workforce!). Each quarter, four winners are selected – one for each of our values – and these winners are entered into the Supreme Values Award nominations. The Supreme Winner not only takes home the kudos but also a $500 Pressie voucher and one day in lieu.

Congratulations to Helen Nati – our Supreme Values Award winner for 2024!

Helen was nominated an impressive seven times throughout the year, across almost all our values. Here are some of the lovely things her colleagues said about her:

  • Helen brings a lot of the table when it comes to representing ‘excellence in what we do’. She has stepped up into a preceptor role where her colleagues have flourished, and she is also always supporting AUT students and taking them under her wing. She is flexible and shares education and insight with her whenever possible.
  • Helen works tirelessly at Ormiston Hospital to ensure every list goes smoothly. She is always willing to help our nurses and ALWAYS have a big smile on her face. She is always friendly and willing to spend time with new starters to ensure they get the best start with us.
  • Helen is the kind of person that this award was created for. She is passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge so that we can all succeed as a team. We would be lost without her!
  • Helen plays a vital role here at the hospital. She is devoted to teaching with patience and excellence and takes huge pride in our team being highly skilled and thriving.
  • Helen is an amazing teacher. She is patient, organised and has great communication skills. She is respectful of individual needs and encourages people to go out of their comfort zones and to try new things. Her dedication and passion for teaching has enabled staff and students to truly grow and learn.

Congratulations again, Helen! We are so proud to have you as a member of our team.
