Enjoy our stylish rooms, fully serviced with a personalised wholesome daily food menu for you to select from. Our catering is made onsite by Nourish Cafe, a team dedicated to making delicious meals using fresh, healthy ingredients to add the recovery process.
Stay connected with our complimentary WiFi, or catch up on your favourite TV shows on Sky TV. Daily newspapers are available on request and can be brought to your room. We know that keeping in contact with loved ones, or keeping this informed, is an important part of your stay with us. Mobile phone and charging facilities are available in your room and our staff are happy to help with any communication requirements you may have.
Private ensuite rooms
Your room, including ensuite, is serviced daily with fresh towels and toiletries. Bathrooms are designed for accessibility and safety and includes the use of a hair dryer. You will also be given a patient care pack with additional items to make your stay more comfortable, such as an eye mask, lip balm, comb and puzzle book.
In-room entertainment
A television (including SKY TV) is provided in your room for your entertaining pleasure.
Mail is delivered to you on arrival in the morning and a daily newspaper is available on request. Should you need it, a Gideon New Testament Bible is available from your Ward Nurse.

Phone calls and computers
Staying connected to loved ones is an important part of your recovery. A telephone is available in your room for use if you need it. To make a call, dial 1 and then the number. Calls from relatives and friends can also be put straight through to your room from ward reception. Please note, all toll calls will be charged to your room.
You are welcome to use your mobile phone and power points are available for phone chargers. Laptop computers are also welcome, with ports and sockets available in your room, including free WiFi.
Cleaning
Our entire facility is cleaned all day, everyday, to ensure patient safety. This is a thorough process that meets the highest standards of sterilisation. All high touch points throughout the hospital are cleaned regularly for you and your visitors’ safety. If you have any cleaning requests during your stay, please let your nurse know.
Smoke and vape-free
Ormiston Hospital supports a smoke-free environment. You must not smoke anywhere in the Ward (including your room), the hospital building or directly outside the main hospital entrance. Please speak to your nurse about care requirements to support you during your admission.
